The Role
As a First Officer you will be supporting our current contracts with the MOD, NATO, and others as determined by the Company providing operational readiness training.
Key Responsibilities
- To carry out such duties concerning the flight, in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures, including procedures, limitations and performance relating to the specific aircraft type, as are allocated to them by the Commander.
- Responsible for operating in accordance with the relevant SHE standards.
- Maintain familiarity with relevant United Kingdom and International air legislation and aviation best practices and procedures.
- Maintain familiarity with such provisions of the Company Operations Manuals as are necessary to fulfil the required function.
- The safe operation of the aircraft in accordance with current legislation and company operations manuals.
- Maintain a high standard of discipline, conduct and appearance as a representative of the Company.
- Supporting worldwide detachments as required by the company.
- Operating in support of adjacent contracts.
Experience / skills / qualifications
- High level of personal and professional integrity
- Ability to work unsupervised whilst detached maintaining safety and customer satisfaction.
- Strong focus on aviation safety and compliance
- Customer focus
- Ability to work through multiple tasks concurrently, prioritising as required to achieve the task safely.
- Adaptable when faced with dynamic situations.
- Ability to communicate and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work well under time pressure, high information load.
Educational/Vocational Qualifications
- Hold a UK CAA Part-FCL ‘Frozen’ ATPL(A) (CPL ME/IR + 14 Theoretical Exams)
- Hold a Class 1 medical
- In addition, if first type rating;
- Completed an MCC course
- Completed an AUPRT course (i.a.w. FCL.745.A)
- Ability to gain an SC security clearance
Knowledge
- Flight operations in the civil environment (Desirable)
- Reasonable level of competence with the suite of Microsoft Office tools (Desirable)
Experience
- Suitably qualified and experienced as Pilot
- Delivery of contracted Flight Operations (Desirable)
